Box Tops for Education

General Mills Box Tops for Education is a program TBA participates in each year. Students that collect and submit box tops each marking period are eligible for a special prize. The program pays cash to the school for each box top. We encourage all families to participate. Tomah Baptist Academy can also benefit if you shop at the Box Tops Marketplace. Here's how you can help our school earn up to $ 60,000 each year from Box Tops 4 Education.

Box Tops for Education Marketplace

Shop online at your favorite stores through the Box Tops Marketplace (www.btfe.com and click on Marketplace) and your school earns on every qualifying purchase up to $20,000 each year, at no additional cost to you.

How the Marketplace Works:

  • Start your online shopping at the Box Tops Marketplace Click “shop now” next to the store at which you’d like to shop.
  • Select items you’d like to purchase, as you normally would and follow their standard checkout process.
  • A percentage of qualifying purchases will be automatically donated to your school.

Earn Cash With Box TopsTomah Baptist Academy receives a check to be used for anything we want. Computers, books, playground equipment, and classroom parties are just some of the ways schools have chosen to use the funds raised through Box Tops for Education.

 

Q: Which General Mills products participate in the Box Tops for Education program?

Box Tops are found on hundreds of participating General Mills products. Although Box Tops coupons appear on the majority of participating brands, sizes and flavors, there are some exceptions. For example, Box Tops coupons appear on Pillsbury frozen and refrigerated products, but not on Pillsbury baking mixes or flour.

Q: How much are qualifying Box Tops for Education coupons worth?

Each Box Tops coupon is worth 10 cents for Tomah Baptist Academy.

Q: How do I turn in the Box Tops for Education coupons I've collected?

Send them in with the students or mail then directly to Tomah Baptist Academy. We will bundle your Box Tops with others collected and ship them to General Mills fulfillment center. You can collect Box Tops all year long. Schools will be issued two checks a year for redeemed Box Tops, on December 15th and May 15th. Checks mailed on December 15th will include all Box Tops submissions postmarked by October 31st. Checks mailed on May 15th will include Box Tops submissions postmarked by March 31st.

Shop online through the Box Tops for Education Marketplace at boxtops4education.com. Up to 10% of each qualifying purchase is donated to Tomah Baptist Academy.

Q: Do I need to do anything special to ensure that my purchases support Tomah Baptist Academy?

Yes. First, you must sign up at boxtops4education.com and designate Tomah Baptist Academy to support. Secondly, you need to always start your online shopping at the Box Tops for Education Marketplace in order for us to credit purchases to your school. Finally, be sure that "cookies" are enabled on your Internet browser. The use of "cookies" is necessary to accurately track your purchases from participating stores. If you set your Internet browser to disable or reject cookies, we will not be able to track and confirm you purchases and make the proper donation to your school. By default, cookies are enabled in major Internet browsers, including Microsoft® Internet Explorer, Netscape®, and AOL®. For more information about cookies, consult the "Help" function of your Internet browser.

Q: Do I need to start at the Box Tops Marketplace every time I shop?

Yes. In order to ensure that all of your purchases are credited to Tomah Baptist Academy, you'll always need to start at the Box Tops Marketplace before making a purchase. If you do not start at the Box Tops Marketplace, Tomah Baptist Academy will not receive credit for your purchase.

Q: What if I forget to shop through the Box Tops Marketplace?

Purchases made online that don't originate through the Box Tops Marketplace will not be credited to Tomah Baptist Academy. To ensure that Tomah Baptist Academy earns cash every time you shop online, be sure to always start at the Box Tops Marketplace.

Q: What happens if I shop without registering?

Your purchases will still generate donations, but the money will go to support the general Box Tops for Education program. To support Tomah Baptist Academy, simply sign up at any time.

Q: Do I pay more for purchases made through the Box Tops Marketplace?

Absolutely not! There are no extra fees when you shop through the Box Tops Marketplace. Prices are set by the individual stores and are the same whether you make your purchase through the Box Tops Marketplace or directly from store Web sites. You'll have access to sale prices, promotions and deals just like any online shopper at these sites. In addition, many stores may offer special sales and promotions just for Box Tops supporters.

Q: How do I track purchases I've made through the Box Tops Marketplace?

It's easy. Simply go to Your Preferences and click on "View donations earned through Marketplace". This will show you your earnings for Tomah Baptist Academy in your account. Donations to Tomah Baptist Academy are updated on a daily basis. Please note however, that because of the way some stores report their data, it can take six to eight weeks for information to be posted to your account. Your account information will be updated the day after we receive information from stores. While earnings accrue on a continual basis, payments to schools are made twice each school year, in December and May, and include earnings from all three components of the Box Tops for Education program—Clip, Shop and Charge.

Yes! This is actually one of the easiest ways to get others involved. Friends, relatives or even businesses can shop to support any school, no matter where they are—whether it's in the next state or across the country. All they need to do is to designate Tomah Baptist Academy and Tomah, Wisconsin to sign up to support Tomah Baptist Academy with their Box Tops Marketplace purchases.
